Sashi McDowell is an award-winning trainer and has been teaching riders for over 20 years. A graduate of Centenary College’s Equestrian Studies program in 1998, she was a member of the college’s Jumper Team while a student. A horsewoman her whole life, Sashi began her career in the Equitation and Hunters and transitioned to the Jumper ring while solidifying her foundation in Dressage.  Having ridden under many Olympic and Grand Prix trainers, Sashi's dressage foundation has enabled her to become an extremely effective Jumper rider and pass on her strong foundation to her students.  Sashi has received many high point trainer awards and has coached her students to continued success including winning saddles at Palermo Finals and championships at AA venues such as Garden State.  Sashi offers lessons from beginner through advanced riders and specializes in taking a rider to the next level in their career including into the show ring.  Under Sashi's direction, her students are given the skills they need to compete and succeed in Hunters, Jumpers, and Equitation. 

Sashi has won numerous awards at many different venus including “Trainer of the Year." Sashi is also pleased with the continued success of many of her students who have also won various awards.
